System Workstations

Rockwell Automation offers a series of system workstations that will help you build a PlantPAx Process Automation System more quickly and with less risk, while still reducing the overall total cost of ownership.

These workstations eliminate unnecessary cost and risk associated with specifying, procuring, and installing appropriate hardware and properly configuring the operating system. They also provide significant time savings to by eliminating the time involved in specifying, procuring, and properly installing the appropriate software. Additional time savings is realized with the consolidated activation incorporated into the workstations which provides a single activation for all the necessary capability on the workstation. Process Application System Servers (PASS)

PASS workstations perform the functionality required of a typical visualization server in a process system environment. These workstations are industrially hardened server-based stations configured to host human interface displays and consolidate data access.

Operator Workstations (OWS)

Operator Workstations are the primary interface into the system. These industrially hardened workstations are perfect for control room or plant floor installations, and include all of the necessary capability to fill the role of a typical operator interface client.
