Northern Lean Event Seminar

Delegates from businesses across the North East packed into the lecture theatre last month to take part in a Lean Engineering and Energy seminar.

Seminar participants learned how Lean principles can drive performance and efficiency, based on expertise from HG Systems and its strategic partner Wonderware UK.

With four offices throughout the UK, HG Systems chose Wilton as its newest site so that it could tap into its skill base by recruiting local engineers and project managers.

“We really wanted to harness the potential offered by the region’s expanding technology sector and offer a local service, backed by our national structure,” said HG Systems’ Sales Director Altaf Rahman. “We’re delighted to bring our unique service here and wanted to welcome the move with an event that would be of real value to fellow tenants, potential employees and potential customers.”

With HG Safety and HG Support under the HG umbrella, the uniquely-structured family of companies has built an enviable reputation for low-risk, tailored and innovative services in the Chemicals, Energy, Nuclear, Food, Metals and Oil and Gas sectors. It has recently begun work on a control system for Wilton Centre resident Lucite’s pilot plant.

Boasting a 25-40 % annual growth, HG Systems is proof that a business can thrive in a recession. “Our customers come back to us time and again because we identify their critical issues quickly and work with them from inception to delivery, and beyond,” adds Rahman. “Being independent, we have the freedom to put their needs first at every turn. And once their new systems are in place, our Safety and Support services give them long-term assurance and a turnkey service.”

HG Systems offers clients world-class technology with products such as SCADA and PLC, DCS, ESD and F&G, from its long-term supplier partners including, Rockwell, Siemens, ABB and Wonderware UK.
