Safe operation

The Nuclear industry offers an effective solution to the production of power without the pollution created by the more traditional methods of generation. However, due to the nature of the materials being used combined with a lack of understanding of the industry by the general public a great deal of hostility to the industry has been generated. This has resulted in the Industry operating at the highest levels of integrity and safety.

Control Systems supplied and implemented by HG Systems  enable plant operation at Sizewell, Sellafield, Trawsfynnydd, Winfrith and many other sites to do so predictably and safely.

Safe relocation

HG Systems has many years of experience of delivering systems to control material movement, tracking of material and to handle all operations needed to make this material safe through the processes of waste retrieval, reprocessing, cleaning, encapsulation, vitrification, compaction and storage.

Underpinning the industries need to deal effectively with existing Nuclear waste safely and effectively, HG Systems has developed a number of applications in line with the Nuclear Design Lifecycle, which safely control the processes designed to convert waste into a form where it can be safely stored for extended periods.
